One of the biggest benefits of a group detox is that you get to hear questions that other detoxers ask. This is great if you have anxiety or get nervous asking questions, because someone might ask the same question that you wanted to ask. Or, if you’re comfortable asking questions, sometimes other people ask questions that you hadn’t even thought of, which helps everyone gain a deeper level of understanding.
Bond with Family or Friends
With the standard GDRx program, Health Coaching sessions are held individually, so doing the program with a loved one can be a bit more disconnected. However, due to the nature of the group program and its communal visits, detoxing with friends or family—whether living in the same space or not—has never been easier! If a loved one purchases a starter kit and wants to start the program with you, then you can attend the meetings together and experience the program the whole way. In fact, we’ve found that people who detox with a friend or family member tend to follow to the program more closely and maximize the benefits of their detox. If you don’t have someone to detox with, don’t worry, that’s why we have a group program in the first place!
